Check out this story from KPTV Fox 12 Oregon, in which a pet cat stays incredibly close to police after home burglary.
A woman from Portland, Oregon came home to find that her home had been broken into. The victim called the police, and upon their arrival investigated the scene only to find broken glass in the basement and on the bathroom floor.
Noticing the broken glass, a police officer scooped up the household cat to protect it from injury. Well, the police officer received a surprise and a partner; the cat leapt onto the police officer’s shoulders and made itself comfortable for the investigation.
Unfortunately, even with the help of the their unexpected sleuth, police weren’t able to identify or apprehend a suspect. The homeowner and the police were lighthearted about the cat’s intervention though, and were nice enough to take and release these pictures for the public to enjoy.
