Meagan went to Thailand for a vacation. She had planned on bringing back some souvenirs – a statue, maybe a t-shirt or a post card. Reddit user, Meagan Penman, never imagined that she would be bringing back so much more.
One day, while exploring and appreciating the beautiful beaches of Thailand, Meagan came across a dog that was dragging itself along the shoreline. Apparently, the dog had lost the use of its hind legs because of a motorcycle accident, but nobody did anything to help make the dog’s condition more bearable.
Meagan captured this picture when she first saw the dog, now named Leo, dragging himself on the beach.

This picture may very well be the exact moment that Meagan fell in love with the poor dog.

Meagan left her new friend in the care of veterinarians while she traveled back to her home country of Canada.

Within two months, Leo was ready to join Meagan Back in Canada! Here is a picture of his arrival.
