Service Dog Meets His Idol At Disneyland

Disneyland is a place of dreams. As much as kids love seeing their favorite characters, like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Cinderella, Elsa, and so many more characters, adults love spending their time at the magical land and re-living their childhood, as well. Well, apparently humans are the only ones who get a little excited over their favorite Disney characters. Recently, puppy Ace, who is being trained to be a guide dog for the blind with Guide Dogs of America, was brought to Disneyland as a socialization experience. When he saw his idol Pluto, Ace got a little too excited! Watch the video below and seeĀ just how much Ace loves Pluto.

His trainer, Sandy Steinblums, commented on the video that Facebook page Disney Dorks posted and said that Ace entered his “formal” guide dog training at the end of January, and that her job as a volunteer is to socialize and provide him with obedience training. Sandy explained that Ace was practicing the command DOWN/STAY, and: “This was a training outing and I was too far back to do a proper correction, but golly-be….he responded anyway. Yep! That is my boy and I am proud of him and love the Disney characters for being so kind and helpful! It will be 6-9 months of extensive training with licensed trainers before Ace has the opportunity to graduate as a guide dog and has the right match in a human partner.” So much love for both Ace and Sandy – keep up the good work!

So Cute!!! Service Dog in training gets to meet his favorite character Pluto!
