Service Dog Gets A Middle School Yearbook Photo For Her Loyalty To Owner

Presley the dog posed for her very own yearbook photo, and it’s too cute! ABC News and GMA recently reported that 5-year-old service dog Presley, from West Monroe, Louisiana recently sat for her very own middle school yearbook photo, at Good Hope Middle School, for a very special reason. Presley has been going to school every day with her 14-year-old owner, Seph Ware, for two years now.

Seph has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a progressive genetic muscle disorder that causes a loss of muscle function. Because of this, Presley is right by Seph’s side every day to help him with daily functions while at school, such as picking items off of the floor, opening and closing doors, and turning on and off lights.

Because Presley is such a loyal, caring dog, Good Hope Middle School decided that it would be great to include Presley in the yearbook right along side Seph. The pictures were taken by Holtzclaw Photography. Watch the video below to learn more about this touching story!
