Sugar the Miracle Cat Needs Your Help

Recently, one of our I Heart Pets Facebook fans, Lisa, told us of a sad story that her daughter’s cat, Sugar the Miracle Cat, has kidney disease and that they are hoping to raise money to help treat her. Lisa explained:

Lisa has asked us to please repost this story on our site for her, so we wanted to give her a helping hand. Please read and donate if you can.

So, we wanted to share Sugar’s story here in case anyone is able to help out. Sugar has a donation page on gofundme.com, and here’s the story listed on the page:

“I’m Sugar The Miracle Cat. I am 14 years old and I have CRF (Chronic Renal Failure/Kidney Disease). By the time I was 2 years old I was diagnosed with epilepsy after having multiple seizures. I was told I wouldn’t make I to my 3rd Birthday, but there I was with my party hat and ice cream cake, and 12 years later I’m still just as funny, playful, lovable, and sweet, and that is why my family is doing everything possible to continue to keep me happy. I also suffer from chronic constipation my whole life, and I was just recently diagnosed with severe anemia. Two days ago I lost my vision and could no longer see, it turned out my blood pressure was so high, which caused the sudden blindness. The vet said it was too far gone and I would never see again…2 days later I surprised my family because I could run around and see my family again!
Please help my family as they need me as much as I need them…Between regular check ups at the vet, emergency visits, and daily medications, have run up quite a pricey vet bill!
